Pisco Sour
“Peruvian National Drink”
The Pisco Sour is the most famous and popular Pisco-based cocktail. In Peru, the Pisco Sour is served as an aperitif for almost every occasion and used as an opportunity to toast.
Ingredients:
• 5cl Pisco Lunas Acholado
• 2 cl lime juice
• 2 cl sugar syrup
• 1/2 egg white
• 2-3 ice cubes
• About 2-3 drops of Angostura Bitter
Preparation:
Put Pisco, lime juice, sugar syrup, egg whites and ice cubes in a shaker or mixer. Shake or mix until one solid foam is formed. Strain into the glass. Put 2 or 3 drops of Angostura bitter on it.
Variation:
Maracuja Sour also tastes really nice! Add 1 cl Lime Juice and 3cl Maracuja syrup.
